Director Mani Ratnam is planning for a bilingual project that is to be made in Tamil as well as in Telugu. Samantha has been roped in as the female lead for this film. Mani Ratnam has also chosen titles for his bilingual movie; Kadal for Tamil version and Kadali for Telugu.

Samantha who is riding high with super success of Dookudu is at present busy with Multi-Starrer flick Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu that stars Mahesh and Venkatesh in main roles. She has grabbed an offer in Trilingual project that is directed by Goutham Menon and with this film the actress is going to make her grand debut in Bollywood industry.

Earlier Director Mani Ratnam thought of casting a fresh face for female role but finally settled with Samantha. Tamil cum Telugu actor of 90’s Karthik’s Son Gautham is going to romance gorgeous lady Samantha in this film that is set to launch on 11th of this Feb.
